What is butyrate, and why tributyrin?
Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid your gut bacteria make from fiber, and the main energy source for the cells lining your colon. Tributyrin carries three butyrate units on one glycerol backbone and releases them as it is digested. It is the core of the formula, at 300 mg per serving, alongside five gut-lining actives.
How do I take it?
Four capsules, once a day. No cycling and no loading phase. One jar holds 120 capsules, a 30-day supply.
When will I notice a difference?
